Your journey begins
Arrive in Marrakech, where your Morocco journey begins. Your private driver will welcome you at the airport and take you to your riad or hotel in the city.
After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to arrive at your own pace. Relax at your riad or take your first walk through the lively streets and colourful souks of Marrakech.
In the evening, enjoy your first taste of Morocco and the atmosphere of the Red City.

Leave the bustle of Marrakech behind and travel into the High Atlas Mountains, as the landscape gradually changes from plains to dramatic mountain scenery and remote valleys.
The journey takes you deeper into the Atlas towards Aït Bouguemez, known as the Happy Valley and the place our family calls home. Along the way, there is time to stop for views, small villages and lunch.
Arrive in Aït Bouguemez in the afternoon and settle into your guesthouse. Take your first walk through the valley, surrounded by traditional villages, cultivated fields and mountain peaks, before enjoying a relaxed evening in the High Atlas.

After breakfast, begin your trek from Tarolidte, leaving the villages and cultivated landscapes of Aït Bouguemez behind as you make your way deeper into the High Atlas.
The trail leads through increasingly remote mountain scenery towards Izoughar Lake, surrounded by the vast, peaceful landscapes of the Atlas. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch prepared by the trekking team and plenty of time to take in the changing scenery.
In the afternoon, arrive at the lake, where the team sets up camp for the night. Enjoy dinner beneath the mountain sky and experience the silence and simplicity of a night in the High Atlas.

Camping
Wake up surrounded by the peaceful mountain landscape of Izoughar Lake and enjoy breakfast at camp before continuing your trek through the High Atlas.
Today’s trail leads through remote mountain scenery towards Rbat, passing open valleys, traditional grazing areas and changing landscapes along the way. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing towards the village.
Arrive in Rbat in the afternoon, where you can relax after the day’s walk and experience another side of life in the mountains.

After breakfast, continue your trek through Aït Bouguemez, following the valley towards Tabant, its main village and lively local centre. If your visit coincides with market day, take time to explore the weekly souk, where people from across the valley gather to shop, trade and meet.
From Tabant, continue on foot towards Timit, walking through the cultivated landscapes and traditional villages of the valley.
In Timit, visit the historic Sidi Moussa granary, perched above the village and offering beautiful views across Aït Bouguemez. Learn about its importance to the local community and the traditions connected to this remarkable place before settling in for the evening.

After breakfast, set out on the final stage of your trek through the beautiful landscapes of Aït Bouguemez.
Walk from Timit through the valley towards Taghoulidte, passing traditional Amazigh villages, cultivated fields and everyday scenes of life in the High Atlas. The gentler pace of this final day gives you time to enjoy the valley and its surroundings before completing your trek.
Arrive in Taghoulidte in the afternoon, say goodbye to your trekking team and enjoy a well-earned rest after your days in the mountains.

After breakfast, leave Aït Bouguemez behind and set out on a spectacular journey across the High Atlas Mountains towards the Valley of Roses.
The route crosses the mountain passes of Tizi n’Aït Imi and Tizi n’Aït Hamed, taking you through remote valleys, dramatic mountain landscapes and small Amazigh villages far from Morocco’s main roads. Along the way, stop to enjoy the views and experience the changing scenery as you travel from the high mountains towards the greener valleys of the south.
Arrive in the Valley of Roses in the afternoon and settle in for a relaxed evening surrounded by its distinctive landscapes and traditional villages.

Begin the morning by discovering what gives the Valley of Roses its name. Visit a local rose cooperative or distillery to learn how the valley’s fragrant Damask roses are harvested and transformed into rose water, essential oils and traditional cosmetic products. During the spring rose season, you may also see the fresh roses being collected and processed.
Continue towards the spectacular Todra Gorge, where you can take a walk between its towering rock walls before travelling further south towards Merzouga.
In the afternoon, the first golden dunes of Erg Chebbi appear on the horizon. At the edge of the desert, meet your camels and ride across the dunes as the light begins to soften. Stop to watch the sunset over the Sahara before continuing to your desert camp.
Enjoy dinner and a peaceful evening beneath the desert sky, surrounded by the silence of the dunes.

Wake up in the peaceful Sahara and enjoy breakfast at your desert camp before leaving the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi behind.
Travel west through the vast landscapes of southern Morocco, passing small desert towns, rocky plains and remote villages on your way towards the Drâa Valley.
As you approach the valley, the scenery changes dramatically. Arid landscapes give way to lush palm groves, ancient kasbahs and traditional villages stretching along the Drâa River. Take time to explore the valley and discover the contrast between the desert and one of Morocco’s most beautiful oasis regions.
Arrive in the Drâa Valley in the afternoon and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by palm trees and traditional earthen architecture.

After breakfast, leave the palm groves of Agdz and the Drâa Valley behind and travel towards Ouarzazate and the legendary Aït Ben Haddou.
Take time to explore this UNESCO-listed fortified village, with its traditional earthen architecture, narrow passageways and impressive setting at the foot of the High Atlas. Walk through the ksar and climb to one of its viewpoints for sweeping views over the surrounding landscape.
After the visit, continue across the High Atlas Mountains, following the spectacular road over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy stops along the way for mountain views before descending towards Marrakech.
Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or evening, bringing your journey from the High Atlas to the Sahara and southern Morocco full circle.

After breakfast, set out to discover Marrakech with a local guide. Explore the historic medina and experience the rich history, architecture and everyday life of one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities.
Walk through the colourful souks, where artisans work with leather, metal, textiles and spices, and discover some of the city’s beautiful palaces, gardens and historic monuments. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to the stories and traditions behind the places you visit.
Later, enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace, shop in the souks or relax on a rooftop terrace.
As evening approaches, experience the lively atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna, when storytellers, musicians and food stalls bring the square to life.

Enjoy your final breakfast in Marrakech and, depending on your flight time, some last moments to relax or explore the city at your own pace.
